This is the time of year coats get tricky ❄️🐾

In northern Minnesota, we’re still in snow season but many dogs are already starting to shift out of their heavy winter coats.

Loose undercoat, packed snow, salt, and moisture can all build up this time of year. For longer coats, that can mean matting. For shorter coats, it can mean dry skin and trapped dander.

A seasonal bath and brush helps:
• Remove loose coat and buildup
• Prevent tangles and mats
• Support healthy skin
• Keep coats functioning the way they’re meant to

If your pup is due for a refresh, call us ✂️🐾

“While the facility is beautiful (the first time my husband saw it he came home raving about how we had stayed at many motels that were not as nice) the staff is what makes Canine Acres exceptional. The affection and care they provide each and every animal is heart warming. Even my extremely nervous boy loves it there. Communication after a stay or daycare is very thorough. Any time I have had a question regarding training, care, or feeding, Hope and the staff have done their best to help me. I feel blessed to have Canine Acres in my life.”

“What I love about Canine Acres is the care and attention the staff provides for my dogs and cat. The whole staff is friendly. They have groomed my dogs and cat and have done an excellent job. They come out looking perfect. They all LOVE to come to Canine Acres. They have fun and don’t want to come back home. LOL. I will continue to bringing them in for all their needs. Thank you for providing these services.”
